3rd August 2012: Boroondara says “No”

White Ribbon Day 2012

Domestic violence is the leading contributor to death, disease and disability for Victorian women aged 15 to 44 years.

On Thursday, 22 November 2012 the Boroondara community will stand up and pledge their commitment to stamp out violence against women and girls (details below).

Join us in a community forum designed to raise awareness and provide support to victims of violence and abuse.

Hear the truth from a survivor and keynote presentations from the Victorian Government, City of Boroondara and Victoria Police.

Attendees will be asked to swear the oath against violence and participate in a 20 minute march in which we will walk the talk to demonstrate our commitment to keeping our mothers, sisters, wives and daughters safe.
