We enjoyed some sun and clear skies over the weekend for auction day, but we have certainly seen the cold weather come through for Monday morning!

The REIV reported a clearance rate of 78% over the weekend, with 601 auctions scheduled and 468 of those selling. In the three months to June 30, Blackburn South recorded one of the state's highest clearance rates of 95%.

Fletchers network of Eastern Suburbs office achieved a success rate of 86% over the weekend.

The auction for this property was live streamed on the Fletchers Stonnington/Boroondara Facebook page. Auctioneer Reilly Waterfield got the bidding underway and after a quick consultation with the owners, bidding resumed and the home was sold for $1.17 million.
