Chilly temperatures but sunny skies made for a pleasant day filled with auctions.
The REIV reported a clearance rate of 77 per cent over the weekend, with 469 auction scheduled to take place; of those 362 were sold.

The two-bedroom period home has been well maintained with verandah lacework, Baltic pine floors, open fireplace and new carpet. The home is located within walking distance to vibrant Glenferrie Road, trams and prestigious private schools. Auction day saw an seven eager bidders hoping to secure the property. Reaching $205,000 over reserve, the home was sold for an impressive $1.405 million.
The picturesque four bedroom timber home at 20 William Street in Box Hill sits in a prized position close to shops, schools and transport. Ready for its next resident, the home had seven bidders on auction day and was sold under the hammer for $1.56 million.
