In usual Melbourne style, we started the weekend a bit cold but as the auctions got underway, the temperatures soared.

The REIV reported a clearance rate of 71 per cent this week with 1,209 auctions reported, 860 of these selling. The REIV also reports that there has been $27 billion worth of residential property sold at auction in Victoria over the year to date.

For the second last weekend of auctions for 2015, Fletcher achieved a fantastic success rate of 85%.
