Fletchers had fantastic auction success over the weekend and performed well above the industry average. Great results from an awesome team!

The REIV recorded a clearance rate of 72 per cent, compared to 69 per cent on the same weekend last year. Fletchers Group achieved success rate of 83 per cent, selling 10 out of the 12 properties scheduled for auction.

The fully renovated period home at 14 Ryeburne Avenue in Hawthorn East was a great result for Tim Heavyside and his team. Situated in a truly exclusive enclave amidst similarly magnificent heritage homes, the property is full of breathtaking features. Two of the four bedrooms are adorned with divine bay windows and the fourth bedroom extends to a courtyard via French doors. The front hall and formal living room feature mesmerising leadlight windows that are truly unique. The opportunity to own this magnificent home was certainly not one to be missed. Two determined bidders agreed, with the property selling under the hammer for $150,000 over reserve.

Another highlight sale for the day was the charming three bedroom home at 99 Sevenoaks Road in Burwood East. This property, ideal for first home owners or downsizers, saw an incredible nine bidders compete to secure ownership. The features of this supremely located home proved extremely appealing, with the property selling for an impressive $103,000 above reserve! A great result for Dawn Kay and Steven Zervas from Fletchers Canterbury.

Situated in a highly desirable pocket of Forest Hill, 4 Boeing Court was another notable sale for our Whitehorse Directors, Ben Williams and Robert Sheahan. The four bedroom home provides an outstanding prospect for first home buyers, investors and growing families, with opportunities for cosmetic renovation at leisure. Three bidders fought to secure this residence which sold for $75,000 over reserve.

The Mediterranean style double brick home at 381 Cypress Terrace North in Palm Beach was another fantastic auction result for Fletchers Gold Coast South. Both vendors and buyers were pleased with the result of this property, which sold for $430,000!
