We enjoyed a gorgeous Autumn day in Melbourne on Saturday, with some lovely sunshine streaming down. The REIV reported a clearance rate of 73% over the weekend, with 708 auctions scheduled and 517 of those selling on Saturday.

A popular property on auction day, there were five competitive bidders vying for the home. The home eventually sold $636,000.

Getting the auction underway took some coaxing but finally got underway, with bidding small but quick, with the house on the market four bidder fought it out. With a few knockout bids the home was sold for a fantastic sale price above reserve.
