The crowds still gathered even though we experienced some particularly cold weather on Saturday.

The REIV reported a clearance rate of 72% over the weekend with 893 auctions reported, 646 of those selling.

The original brick veneer home features a formal living and dining room, traditional kitchen and two bedrooms. Located close to shops, schools and parkland the possible new home site is in an ideal family location. The block is the perfect site for a new home. The home was sold under the hammer after four bidder helped it reach a final sale price of $980,000.

In Box Hill North, the family friendly location of 18 Garden Street stirred a range of interest from prospective purchasers. The charming weatherboard home has been spaciously designed with four double bedrooms, large bathroom, generous lounge, dining room and update kitchen all on a block of approximately 620 sq m.  The large block offers the potential for redevelopment or brand new home.  Three bidder on auction day helped this property sell for $1.146 million.
