May 29th 2013

Fletchers performed well again over the weekend with some great auction results from the team. The REIV recorded a clearance rate of 71%, with Fletchers achieving 80%, well above the industry average for the second week running.

Previously on the market for a number of months with no offers, 18 Sutton Parade in Mont Albert North attracted a great deal of interest with Fletchers new marketing campaign. Situated in a prestigious neighbourhood, this high-quality designer home offers all the luxuries. With a superbly-appointed kitchen featuring Caesar stone benches and walk in pantry, fully-equipped home theater, heated in-ground pool and alfresco deck with surround sound, this property has something for everyone. Tim Heavyside, Traci Stella and their vendors were thrilled when the property not only sold within 9 days of being on the market, but also for an outstanding price!

The three bedroom home with an elevated outlook to the city skyline at 28 Gedye Street in Doncaster East proved appealing to many buyers, with six bidders competing to secure the property. Going under the hammer for an incredible $117,000 above reserve, this sale was another great result for Traci Stella, alongside Jason Salan.

A large crowd gathered to see the auction for 20 Tortice Avenue in Nunawading, where Robert Sheahan was out in action again. Situated in a sought-after family location, this bright four bedroom weatherboard home was bound to attract a lot of interest. Results on the day proved this to be true, with the property selling for $85,000 over reserve.

The split level property at 430 Balwyn Road in Balwyn North is a delightful family abode with with quality living spaces, a versatile floorplan and a backyard built for entertaining! With five bedrooms and irresistible features such as a BBQ courtyard and in-ground solar heated pool and in the Balwyn High School Zone, this property was one not to be missed! Consistent with the big number Fletchers have been achieving over the last couple of weeks, this property sold for $109,000 above the reserve price.
