Intermittent rain did little to deter eager buyers on Saturday. Our agents were kept busy at both auctions and open for inspections!
The REIV reported a clearance rate of 78% over the weekend, with 595 auctions scheduled. Melbourne’s outer suburbs have seen more auctions taking place and greater buyer interest, creating a high level of activity each Saturday. A few suburbs, including Ringwood, have recorded a double digit increase in the median house price in the most recent quarter.
Fletchers eastern suburbs offices achieved a success rate of 85%. Our Diamond Valley office also had some fantastic results with their auctions and we also celebrated with the Grand Opening of Fletchers Banyule in the morning.
In Balwyn North, 9 Tuxen Street went under the hammer over the weekend.
