It wasn’t hard to forgot that winter has well and truly begun, with foggy, wet and cold weather greeting us for a Saturday of auctions.

The REIV reported a clearance rate of 76% over the weekend, with 747 auctions scheduled and 565 of those selling under the hammer. Fletchers network of Eastern suburbs offices achieved an overall success rate of 72%.

The original house is comprised of three bedrooms, spacious living room and adjoining dining room.  With plenty of character and potential, this home attracted the attention of plenty of renovators. There were three eager bidders on auction day and the property reached $118,000 over reserve, selling for $548,000.
