Tim Fletcher appeared on the MPTV Property Panel in the first episode of Season 4, discussing Gen Y and whether they will ever be able to get into the property market.

With over forty years in the industry, Tim is one of the most respected and prominent members of his profession.

The panel agree that it is advisable to start small; build your way up on the property ladder – starting small to achieve property aspirations.

As Tim says, you can't generalise and Gen Y's should buy when they are ready – buying an apartment or flat, keeping ir for a few years (or longer if you can) and leveraging it to buy a second home.

Bottom line: work hard, consult people who know and be prudent on your path to home ownership!
