You have your to-do list, everything is planned and organised… here's what not to do when you're moving house.

Aristotle said, "The aim of the wise is not to secure pleasure, but to avoid pain." He was probably moving house at the time, for there are so many things to consider when transferring your existence to another location that you want to avoid pain and complication if at all possible.

Of course the best laid schemes of mice and men gang aft a-gley, but with forethought and sound preparation, you can ensure that most things go well most of the time.
